Title: MC for Mac crashes during import of music library

I think MC is a great piece of work, but does anyone know why MC 19.0.119 crashes when I import the music library. Is there a maximum number of audio files that is allowed for MC ?

If that doesn't help, try importing a single file type at a time to see if you can find a file that is causing a problem.

No, and it performs well with incredibly large file sets (http://www.jriver.com/speed.html).

This kind of problem is almost always caused by trying to import some terribly corrupt files, or from bad permissions set on some of the files.  Narrowing down which file or files are causing it will be needed.  Enable Logging under the help menu, and then recreate the issue (with a narrowed down subset of your files if possible).  The log package may contain some helpful clues.
