Title: 3d party plugins is not functioning properly with MC (Introduced in 11.1.120)

For me, Audio Scrobbler started saving its config file on windows desktop!..
other wise if this file deleted (there will be no info in the plugin) and MC will crash whenever AS. would try to submit a file..

I heard also from Marko, that he is having issue with PlayingNow third party pluging too... maybe he would report it here..

The crashes we've seen are inside the AudioScrobbler dll, which would be the plugin's code and not MC.

Anyone else have any details about the PlayingNow issues?

How related to the audioscrobbler?! where the previous build of mc where working with the same plugin/dll file ?

The AudioScrobbler plugin seems a bit buggy; when I have it installed and active, MC occationally hangs about 3 seconds before the end of the track, then I have to change to another zone  or restart MC before I can go on playing again.

I don't have clear evidence that the problem is caused by the plugin, but I can't recall having the same problem without it.

It's seriously buggy.  It should probably not be used.

Audio scrobbler is vital to me...
and i have never had any issues with that plugin in my MC history though... truly,..

There is a long history of problems with the plug-in.  Please try a search here.

OK iam convinced but would you explain to me why from 11.1.120 MC  did not work well with the plugin?
where it was working in the older builds with the same plugin version ?

Did you try reinstalling? I have AS at work, and only have issues every once in a while. I have the most recent version of MC,

In the first try, I tried uninstalling and MC told me unable to uninstall or create plugin!...
so i reinstallled it and then uninstalled then installed... and the same problem,..

Jimh?? my answer ??
