Title: Starting to Get "No Seek Complete" Status Burning MP3 CDs (Fixed!)
Post by: Skeezix on March 03, 2011, 12:00:32 am
What would cause this error to begin happening after a couple years of burning MP3 files with no problems? I did clean the drive.

I kinda suspect that, but I thought I'd ask in case somebody else had a similar problem and found it to be the drive. Hate to spend $$ for another drive and find out that it doesn't correct the problem.

The individual tracks seem to burn w/o problems. It's the closure process that fails. The drive does somewhere around 20 retries and then gives up. I only burn about an hour's worth of MP3 files, so pretty much just the inner tracks are being used.

This problem was resolved by installing another drive.
