I've had to roll back to 25.0.24 because 25.0.27 and 25.0.31 crash after every video finishes playing. This is occurring on two client Windows 10 HTPCs connected to one library server.
It doesn't matter if I watch the video all the way through, or skip ahead. As soon as the video is finished, instead of displaying theater view, MC immediately crashes.
Log file is attached.

Try checking two new options under Media Network:
Disable Audio Buffer to Disk (for low powered machines)
Disable Video Buffer to Disk
Changes in buffering have caused problems in recent builds.
-
After enabling those two options on the client, videos will no longer play. MC just freezes when starting a video and stays frozen. Tried 25.0.31 and 25.0.24. New log file is attached.

Can you play the same video on the server?
-
The crash is definitely caused by buffering changes. Hopefully Yaobing will look at it next week.

Just had a similar issue on a client last night. But didn't even have to get to the end of the recorded show... I was watching a recorded tv show on a CLIENT, pressed stop, and MC just closed - completely exited the program without any warning or error message! I will try to send logs to Yaobing... Looks like logging not turned on for this CLIENT, so will have to wait for another crash.

Can you play the same video on the server?
Yes, none of these problems occur on the server. Files are on local RAID storage.
-
Just happened again, on a different CLIENT. Pressed stop, MC just shut down without error.... This is a big bug. IMO this topic should be a sticky and everyone should be warned to roll back to version 24 until this is fixed!
