I was trying to help out a friend who is having trouble with Gizmo - but I don't have any Android devices. Or so I thought. Turns out an old Kindle Fire 7" gen 2 (2012) does the trick. Gizmo was easy to install and works like a charm with MC22 (yes, I am behind the times). If you want to try Gizmo and have a Kindle Fire, it seems to work fine.
Yesterday Gizmo wanted to advance to the next song every 24 seconds, but today it is well behaved. I can control playback on both the local PC and on the Samsung TV. Audio, video, images. Hurray for old tech. :)
MC22 on Windows 10> Gizmo on Kindle Fire > Samsung smart TV.
