I've seen this mentioned a few times over the years, and would like to add my vote. My library's mostly flac, so when I sync to my portable I have MC automatically convert to ogg (great feature!!!). However RockBox gags on some of the larger album art tags embedded in each song. Since I know the resolution of my rockbox display, it would be great if, while MC was converting the song, it also resized the album art to a specified size.
Is this on your radar?
