Post by: jpmahala on December 27, 2016, 09:35:27 pm
Will the Linux build include improved support for PonoPlayer?

Does the player itself work at all on Linux?

As with Windows or Mac, it is seen as a removable storage device.

Then it might work.   I don't know.  Our Pono changes should be OS independent.

Thanks.  I already was using it to transfer music, but I was more curious about pono specific tags, firmware updates, and store downloads (if/when it's available again).

The store is down, as you probably know.  No known date for when it will appear again.

We may be able to continue to update firmware, but it's too early to say.

All Pono tags should be preserved.  You can restore a backup from PMW.  It made them automatically.
