Post by: michaeljordan on November 15, 2011, 09:30:46 am
hi
I just bought a new computer, and I imported 20GB of mp3 to my jriver media jukebox V14.0, and for all those MP3 which did not had any cover art before, now its showing the last cover art mp3 i added to my data base.  how can I solve this problem because i have many mp3 without any cover but now has the same wrong cover attached.

If you have a single jpg in the same directory with a lot of audio files, MJ will use it as the cover.

For such a brilliant program, how is it that it has completely messed up my audio with ridiculous covers. Isn't it supposed to use some facsimile of algorithm to match covers with the file, like even bothering to check the album name in the meta file?? Now I"m going through hundreds of music files and having to delete ridiculous covers. Covers that couldn't in the wildest dreams be associated with the files you have posted them to. So what's up with that??

I'm sorry, but Media Jukebox won't do that.  Try a Google search for a similar problem with Windows Home Server.
