Title: How to upgrade version 20 to 21 on Mac?
Post by: Zbig on October 07, 2015, 07:58:44 pm
Hi
I already have version 20 running (for a long time without any issues, on Mac), just downloaded (and purchased) version 21.

Would anyone have any suggestions on how to move from ver 20 to 21 preserving the library, playlists etc?

thank you very much

Sure, it's easy.  Back up the library using MC20.  File > Backup Library .  Take note of what directory (folder) you put the backup in.  Then restore the library into MC21.  File > Restore Library .  Use the backup file you just made from MC20.

That should get everything:  Settings, all of the files in your library, playlists, views, etc.

Enjoy,

Brian.
