Title: Prevent long Pause
Post by: TenTonnesofDoug on June 09, 2017, 04:40:59 am
Hi,

My files are served from a NAS over local network to a HTPC running JRiver. I've noticed that if a video get left on pause for long enough that the NAS puts it's drives into suspend, it causes JRiver to hang. Is it possible to add a function that detects if playback has been paused for longer than 5 min (or a set amount) and automatically stops playback?

Thank again

The right answer is to change your NAS parameters so it takes longer for the drives to go to sleep.

I am having the same problem, and it doesn't have anything to do with the server going to sleep.

After pausing a blu-ray iso for > 5 mins jriver freezes, requiring a reboot.

This is a new bug in MC22
