I am running Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon, Media Center 26.0.94(64 bit) and was excited to see the "Lookup lyrics" feature.
It seemed to work for a bit and then stopped working. I thought I remember seeing something on the forum about people being blacklisted by the lyrics site for too many requests. Could that be the case?
If so is there a known solution?
Thanks for any help.

Is no one else having problems downloading lyrics???
-
No but you could try using a VPN to see if you've been blacklisted.

Thanks for the tip... I will try a VPN.

Well, I logged onto AZLyrics.com it had me check a (Captcha)box saying I was not a robot. I was forwarded to the site, I made one Lyric request with JRiver and then tried to log in to AZLyrics.com again and got access denied. It appears as though I was blocked again after a single request.
It looks like the windows version of Media Center saw this was a problem and now uses Google as its primary source for Lyrics(see post: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,119857.msg832479.html#msg832479). Will this be implemented in the Linux version?

Seems like we figured out at least part of this, there is some issue with some types of http redirects. That will be fixed in the next build and you can try again.

Thanks for the update Bob!
