Before switching to Media Center I was using a system based around a Nirvis slink-e. One nice thing about this setup was the text-to-speech feature that allowed me to play voice prompts over the music - time of day, someone at the front door, name of playlist playing, etc. I am trying to reproduce this capability in Media Center. I don't see anyway to get the text to speech engine to interface, so I was thinking about recording wav files of the most popular prompts and somehow inserting those into the playlists at the appropriate time? Any idea how I might go about this? Thanks.
