Title: Plugin Development on Mac
Post by: pacopericolo on March 08, 2018, 01:59:06 am
Hello,

I have written a pretty complex plugin for JRiver and now I plan to change to a Mac Machine...
Has anyone tried to write plugins for JRiver/Mac? If you have ANY general hints in advance (what do I need, which problems do I have to expect, how do I install the plugin etc.), this would be very helpful. I do not even know if COM interopt is available in Mac Version? (I'm using this quite excessively in my plugin)

Thanks,
Paco

COM is a Windows concept, it won't be available on the Mac. The only way to interact with Mac/Linux Media Center would be through MCWS.
