Title: syncing songs to galaxy S1 - playlist file (PLA) is empty
Post by: ShayB on May 11, 2012, 02:20:36 pm
hi,

I set my galaxy S1 to "kies" and sync to the internal SD.
the songs are synced (using a smarlist) correctly but none of the players see the playlist file.
looking into the directory, I see that MC created a file as the playlist name with extension PLA
the file is empty (size 0)

is it a bug?
what can I do so that I will have also the playlists?

Bump.

Hi, I now have this problem too.

None of the Android players recognize this playlist format that I can find. I have an HP Touch running Android. It can only mount as an MTP unless I do a hard reboot to USB mode so creating a new device is not an option (easily or desirable). I looked in the options and there is no way to change the Playlist file type or the location it is stored.

I am going to try some work arounds for now by exporting the playlist manually.

I just noticed this was posted under MC16, I am running latest of MC17. I will go post my comment under the portables section for Android.
