Title: License installation issue
Post by: SwissBear on October 21, 2016, 07:04:20 pm
Hi,
I have a MC 21 installed on a Mac. I have purchased an MC 22 Master License. I am trying to install this Master License on the Mac.

MC 22 has successfully installed on the Mac. When I double click on the .mjr file, I receive the following message (see first attachment)

But when I check the registration information, the license has not been installed and the following message is displayed (see second attachment)

Can you please help ?

It looks like MC21 is installing the license.  You need to use MC21 to install it.  Make sure MC22 is installed and runs.

I've had this happen in the past.  I think when I went from MC20 to MC21.

The solution in my case was to do the registration directly from the new version of MC.  Not using the MJR file.  But rather, entering my big license code into the new version (in your case MC22), and letting it contact JRiver's servers to authorize itself.  The process worked flawlessly and registered my copy correctly.
