I've read a fair bit of discussion about this and the various ways that it might work, but I haven't seen anyone who's successfully done the process of moving an MC library from Windows to a new MC library on Mac. There was a thread started about this a week or so ago that I responded to, but I didn't have access to a PC at the time so...
Today I decided to buckle down and see if it could be done. Using a VM running Windows XP and MC20, I was able to transfer a Windows MC20 library into a Mac MC21 library. Everything was transferred successfully: Songs, ratings, custom fields, and playlists.
