Title: Keep more than 1 (previous) log file

Keeping just one previous log file makes it harder to track what is going on if there are issues that involve MC crashing or restarting (either MC or the host machine), it would be much nicer if more files were kept around.

My preference would be to store x days worth of previous log files and to append a timestamp (start time of the file or restart time, i.e. the time it was mv'ed, is fine) to the file to make it easy to see the history (in order and relate that to when things actually happened in real time). If I had to pick a value for x then I'd say 2 days would be sufficient for most debugging purposes.
