Title: "Play local files if one that matches Library Server is found"
Post by: Purecut on March 29, 2023, 10:06:15 am
Hi everyone,

"Play local files if one that matches Library Server is found" - Settings under Media Network

please can someone explain me what this settings mean and how it works.
I'm using MO4Media on the NVIDIA shield and there is a SSD connected with the same movie (same name etc.) to the shield as on the MC Server.
When I select the movie with MO4Media -> MC JRiver (Library Server) than MO4Meia takes only the file from the MediaServer and not the local one.

What must be done or what is the configuration that it will not use the JRiver movie from the Library Server. The local file should be played because it is a RAW 4K movie and my network is to small (1Gb) for the 4k Bitrate (movie above 100kb/s).

Thanks

The option is for MC clients connected to a library server.
It is a setting purely for a client instance of MC.
As you are using MO4Media as your network client it will have no effect (I assume you have set it on your server and found it has no effect).
