Audiophilestyle.com (formerly Computeraudiophile.com) has a new article just out, "Clash of the Titans, MC vs Roon", published on Jan. 1.
https://audiophilestyle.com/ca/reviews/roon-vs-jriver-clash-of-the-titans-r764/
I was surprised to read the following statement in the article, which refers to JRemote in the past tense:
...' JRemote was an aftermarket remote controller and renderer that still works well but is no longer available from the iTunes App Store. ..."
If that's the case, and the IOS version of JRemote is indeed no longer available from the Itunes Store, I think that would rather big (and from my perspective very bad) news, and I would be very surprised to hear about it first on another website. If not, perhaps someone should tell them over at audiophilestyle.com...

That's not correct. JRemote is on the App Store.

You can also get there from jremote.com (https://jremote.jriver.com).
I don't know why search isn't working on the App Store. We'll check.

Just tried the search, it was fine.
The current version requires iOS 10 or newer.
The previous version goes back to iOS 7 IIRC.
The next release will work back to iOS 9.3

JRemote is also available on the Google Play store. Last updated Feb 22, 2016. How much time would it take to fix the incorrect date display format on most of the date/time fields in the Metadata display?
