Title: A question reference scraping...
Post by: Dawgincontrol on July 14, 2016, 01:45:18 pm
Why, when using Google as a scraper in the theater view slideshow, do certain artists not have artwork, but if I google the images for the artists there are multiple images?

I use Last FM also and will sometimes have artists there with a photo, but does not appear in the slideshow.

Spelling is the same as the search.  Does Media Center pare these away in some manner?

Most artists work but some don't.

What's an example artist name that isn't working?

Thanks.

Now, I'm thinking the Google scraper for images is broken. I unchecked the Last FM scraper and used Google only and no images.

So, evidently only Last FM is working as HT Backdrops was previously known to be broken.  Last FM is quirky because of the spelling and various formats for artists on the site.

Running MC22.0.8 on Windows 10.

Doh!

Coming next build:
Fixed: Google Image lookup wasn't working.
