Title: Change from Windows to Mac

I'm planning to go from Windows to MAC. I have about 1.2 TB ripped files in FLAC. Can I convert them into ALAC and then just shift to MAC? If so will the tags work also on the MAC?

MC can use FLAC files on OSX.  There's  no need to convert.
