Player (ZonesX)
I realised several Player Zones.
under "Playing now" I have:
Player
Player (zone2)
Now I wanted to have a fully separated setup in each Zone (at the moment just to play around and to tweak in one zone where as the other zones are not touched.
I got somehow a surprise:
I changed the VST-plugins in one Zone. Then in another Zone it was also changed to that one. Now I am confused, looks that some features are zone-dependent other features are global (all zones share the same)?
Whats the case?
What features are exclusively for the configured zone
Waht features are common over all zones?
***********************
What I want:
configure "Player" which is zone1, all features even DSP, VST-plug-in, order of processing under DSP etc.
add another zone "Player (zone2)
Now I configure this zone2 with all the features (including DSP, VST-plug-in) etc..
Zone 1 is not touched by configuring zone2 and keeps as configured.

may be I am doing something wrong?
JRiver version: MC18.0.178

I would like to do the same, with zone 1 stereo and zone 2 mutichannel with different settings and VST

I think VST plugins store their settings on a global level for your computer. Each zone is basically opening the same VST plugin so its settings will be the same. You may be able to copy the plugin to a different folder and use one location for one zone and another location for another zone.
I recommend you use JRiver's DSP for most things such as active crossovers, equalization, level adjustement, etc.

okay, I will try different folder for vst settings, vst plug-in
helpfull would be a list of features independent of zones, and globally same.
Does that already exist?
Reverse engineering is rather cumbersome...

Respond to Mojaves suggestion:
I tried two directories to store the settings of the vst (Layouts). I can load two different settings with two different configs into the two zones.
However If I restart JRiver the change is gone.
Yes it looks so that only one VST-setting can be configured, valid for all zones.
As I run MC18, I am not sure if this is the same with MC19 (if not would be a reason to upgrade).
Would there be another idea how to achieve multiple vst configs for each zone?
