Hi,
MC repeatedly crashes during Auto Import. Somewhere around 16,500 tracks in of 40,000 or so. These same files were included in a previously deleted library. Im not versed enough to track down the exact issue. Ive attached my logs if helpful.
Thanks, Jason

What version? 22.0.54 is at the top of this board.
Try importing a single file type (FLAC, for example).

Enable logging in Media Center (Help > Logging...) and reproduce the crash. Then post those logs here.
Almost certain the crash(es) are caused by bad files.

Still Having the issue:
The last file it's working on is this:
/Volumes/My Book for Mac/Audio/Audio Files By Artist/Misc Orgd/Unknown Artist/Unknown Album/Love You To Life-0Grace Jones-Love You To Life (Cagedbaby & Guy Williams Paradise 45 Rework).wav
Would you be willing to send a copy to matt at jriver dot com?
Also, you might be able to make import work if you just move/rename that one file.
Thanks.

Disable The "Analyze Audio" feature on import.

You should be receiving a link to a dropbox folder. I will be adding the audio file shortly.
Thanks J
The "Analyze Audio" function was not enabled.
On a side note: I just remembered an odd behavior that occurs almost every time I use MC.. I always shrug it off, but it just dawned on me that its rather consistent:
If I recall, this occurs on both my apple comps (both running 10.12.5) desktop 27" iMac (Late 2009) and Macbook Pro (mid 2012 w/retina)
After opening the app, possibly adjusting the settings to suit the location and hardware, then selecting a song from a customized files view (which is how I usually play tracks) seconds before that first track is complete, playback abruptly stops and I get a an error message regarding "something went wrong with playback."
I then select whatever track I want to hear next, restart play and every track from then on plays and transitions to the next as normal.
I will try to note and forward my exact procedure preceding the next occurrence. Would it be best if I start a new topic for this or roll with this one?
Thanks J

Note sure if this is related, but I have had this showing up in my system error logs recently: See attached

I removed the questionable file and re-ran Auto Import and crashed again. log attached.
