Hi,
MC12 stores the application data such as library data and thumbs in C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\J River\
I have installed MC12 on an Asus Eee PC which has a ss C:\ drive of just 4 GB and this is only intended for system resources. The MC12 program is on disk D:\
Please how can I move the JRiver application data folder to another (larger) disk like D:\ ? Especially the thumbs folder grows big quickly.
Couldn’t find anything under Tools --> Options… for that.

It's under File Location.

Application data can not be moved (save for changing _all_ of Windows), but you can move your library using Library Manager.

Hi, thanks for the fast replies.
Under file location I can only set the location where ripped files are stored.
@Matt
Then I have a problem. The library files are up to now not the real problem, these are not that big. But the thumb files (there are 3 of same file size, different ones for different thumb sizes ?) grow really too big.
I know it is MS behaviour to store these kind of data in C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\ but IMHO not intended for large chunks of data
I am quite happy with this small PC running MC as a music centre next to my audio set-up. So what to do? Will installing MC12 (or MC13) on an external USB drive help? I assume the application data will be stored on that as well then?

If you're feeling adventurous, you can change the default thumbnail path in the system registry. It lives under:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Center 12\Properties\Thumbnails - Base Path]

That did indeed the trick.
Thanks all for the help.
