Post by: aliciaviola on August 30, 2017, 03:25:02 am
MadiaCenter (newest build) crashes sometimes while I am tagging and using the "Tab" button on the keyboard.

Your log mentions this file:

/Volumes/Filme/Musik/Oberon_Dasch_Gunnell_Prégardien_Abramowa_Wilson_Kammler_Bolton_München2017.mp4

It's mentioned many times in the log and seems to be doing the same thing over and over again.  Though I'm really not very skilled at reading these logs, so this might be normal.  I see that it says 2 or 3 times that "this file is not taggable".

I wonder if this file is "bad", or if this is just a normal message when MC can't tag a video file.

You might try moving that file temporarily out of MC's monitored folders and try again.  I'm honestly not sure what's going on; just giving you what little information I have.

Good luck.

Brian.

Mediacenter (latest build) crashed again.
I sent a file to WaveLab 9, edited the file
and played it on Mediacenter that shut down
after some seconds.
A log file is appended

This file is listed at the end of your latest log:

Volumes/Musik Portraits Sammelprogramme/Sänger/Schumann, Elisabeth/Schumann_Elisabeth_EMI_Icon/CD1/08 Elisabeth Schumann, Sopran;  - An die Nachtigall, D. 497 (Claudius).m4a

It is probably a bad file.  Move it out of MC's directories, so MC can't see the file any more.  This might fix your crashes.  MC frequently crashes when trying to analyze damaged audio files.
