Out of 12 tracks of one album, stored as mp3 files in a album folder, only 1 track gets imported...
I can play all other tracks separately, but 11 just don't want to get imported...
Are there any situations in which a track is internally rejected and just silently NOT imported?
Thanks for a hint

Try drag-n-drop from Explorer.
Check the setting "Ignore files previously removed" on the import settings for that folder.

Matt,
setting "ignore files previously removed" is NOT checked
and with drag-and-drop from Windows Explorer it doesn't work either
so far these are just 2 folders of 600... very strange... ?

I wonder if the files got corrupted? I have had some files that got corrupted (I usually knew the cause). Do you see any reason behind not importing?
-
Benn600,
when I import the folder only track 5 will be imported, all other 11 tracks don't show up in MC
but I can play all of them directly
I wonder where the problem might be...

Would it be convenient for you to re-rip that CD? It isn't fun when MC won't import your music. I can't think of any other ideas, other than just re-ripping in case they are corrupted. Perhaps the tagging isn't quite right or corrupted some how (on the files) and MC is getting confused.

benn600,
I found the missing tracks under a totally different name in another folder (by accident)... but I'm happy to have found where the problem was... I suppose in the tagging somewhere (although I didn't do anything with tags)
Thanks a lot anyway for tips, appreciate your help!
