Title: 21:9 output from PC to Projector - Will this display like it does from Bluray
Post by: AussieMark on August 05, 2017, 09:21:17 am
So I have a HTPC running MC 23 and windows 10. I output this to my Sony vw520es.  The standard is 16:9 and need to zoom to 21:9 where the black bars are above and below my screen (my screen is 21:9 also).  When I play a bluray through my Oppo it automatically fills the 21:9 screen.

I am using the onboard Intel Graphics that supports 4k.  There is no ability to change the aspect ratio to 21:9 it seems.

Question, would like to hear from any members who are running a GTX1060 graphics card amplifier that allows you to change the display to 3840 x 1620.  Wanted to know whether 1:235 movies become even wider or display correctly as I do not want to spend the money if it is not going to fix the problem.

Like to hear how others have set up their system for 1;235 without an anamorphic lens.  Ideally if you have a sony vw520es or similar it would be good to hear from you.

Thanks in advance
