Installed JRiver Media Center 25 in my imac computer. I've connected a Bose USB Audio external Two Speakers and Subw.
they work very well with all other applications, however when trying to play an audio file from JRiver mc 26 no sound comes out of the speaker, instead I receive a message as shown in attachment.

I have tried to change the sample rate to 48000 but keep getting the same message.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated, thanks to every one and best regards

The error message has advice. You may need to set up your audio hardware in MC's options. You can choose a device there.

The audio hardware in MC's options IS set up to Bose USB Audio (Core Audio) and still does not work with MC, however it does work when playing Itune, Amazon and Audio from Youtube and movies. The sample rate is set up to 48000kHz but the error message remain the same.
I have followed the advice of the error message to a T and I still can make the sound work thru the external speakers using MC
