Does anyone have recommendations for a good Battery Powered Renderer? I am looking for something for listening to music in my garden.

I have a Sony SRS-X7 that I like. It's Bluetooth, but I think it also does DLNA. I've had it for more than five years. It lasts a couple hours on its battery. I believe I wrote about it when I got it.
You could probably find that used now.
Here are the specs:

Sony says six hours. I've never tried using it that long. I think RDJames had something negative to say about it.

I tried the Network setting on the speaker. MC plays to it as a Renderer. It doesn't play FLAC. It does play MP3. It probably plays WAV.

If you're using your phone to control the speaker any reason not to use a bluetooth speaker?

The quality is lower, and the range is lower.

Older model (Sony SRSX77) used here. Does DLNA, Bluetooth and has Spotify. Battery life OK and no issues with distance from AP. Will report back how long to fully discharge the battery
Only negative is it can take a while to connect to the wireless network
