Title: DLNA Renderers Missing In Panel
Post by: Richard Martin on March 23, 2023, 06:48:58 am
When I open Panel on my phone and go to Settings >Play to the only option is 'Here'.  Until recently they both appeared as options.
I can see both in Playing Now on the server and both are available as options in MO 4Media.
Can anyone suggest why they have gone from Panel and how to get them back?

Make sure you're opening Panel from the server you want.

Make sure Media Network is turned on at the server, and that all three parts of DLNA are running.

MC has a new tool to monitor network traffic.  It's under Services and Plug-ins.  Click on Media Network, then on the SSDP button on the page.

This is getting odd.  I checked the settings on the server and they all looked could and then opened Panel on a client PC.  There I can see Play to "Here", "Player" and my two renderers.  So then I went to my phone (which is where I have the problem and is on the same network) and opened Panel there and only see "Here" as Play to option.

Using the SSDP button I can see both renderers

Try clearing the browser cache on your phone.

If you don't even see the 'Player' zone in the list, it sounds like MCWS isn't getting through, and maybe you're seeing a cached page.

Does playing music work to the local zone even work?

Is the phone connected to WiFi?

Clearing the cache fixed it. Thankyou
