Title: MC23 sounding very strange - phasing
Post by: FenceFurniture on November 15, 2018, 06:16:04 am
G'day, I'm running MC23 on Windows 10, and I haven't used it for a while (been using a DAP instead when I'm offsite). Tonight I played something on the DAP through Koss BT540i phones and it was fine. I went to the laptop to use MC23 (same song) and it was really weird sounding. No bass, dirty, phasing around. FLAC files on the DAP and laptop. Also tried the MP3 version, same result.

Can anyone estimate what might be going on please?

Ok, so I played the same track from MC23 through the Harmon Kardon Studio 2 and it sounded fine. Changed back to the Koss phones and still sounds rubbish. Put the Koss phones over to the DAP for the same track - perfect!

I'll try unpairing the phones from the laptop and re-pairing to see how that goes......

Well that seems to have fixed it. How very strange! Must be a Bluetooth thing.
