Title: Problem with JRemote not advancing to next track
Post by: fridden on September 18, 2014, 03:13:47 am
Hi,
I am having a problem with JRemote stopping after playing a track.
It constantly stops after a track has finished with "Audio stream error". If I then tap the next track it will play just fine, and when that finish I get the "Audio stream error" again.
This happens regardless of filetype.
It only do this when I have selected "This Device".
I don't have any problems playing all tracks using WebGizmo.

I experience this on both my iPad 2, and my iPhone 5.
I am using JRiver Media Center 19. 0.163 and the latest updates of JRemote.

Is there some settings or configuration I might need to do?

Thanks for any help or advice in advance!

Have you disabled transcoding (in settings)? And is this a problem with all files or just a specific format?

Hi,
The "Transcode audio" is off in the iPhone 5 (I don't have access to my iPad right now, but I haven't knowingly changed this setting).
I have checked with mp3 and FLAC, and it doesnt matter which filetype I used.

However, after I checked the settings (without changing anything) I thought I would verify again that it really occurs regardless of filetype, but now I don't get the error!?

So right now it seems to be working as it should, I don't know why...

Thanks anyway for your assistans!
