Title: WASAPI in Jukebox?
Post by: Chronic on December 12, 2011, 12:59:19 pm
Hi, i was using media centre but it kept asking me to upgrade but i don't need a whole media centre just a music player, so i changed to Jukebox & now no WASAPI options for bitperfect audio?

Do i have to switch back to media centre?

Cheers

Cool, im more than happy to buy media centre really, its so great, especially as i can use my iPod with it, i just hope my free trial goes into the new year as i can't really afford it until then

I've been using iTunes for years but recently started to get into USB DAC's & getting bit perfect audio playing, unfortunately in windows iTunes can't cut the mustard when it comes to this

Id love some more DSP plugins, are there more available?
The directx one just makes a crazy sound when i try to use it

The included effect with media centre are great but im after decent reverb plugins

Thanks!

You can use VST plugins. In my experience DirectX plugins do not usually work correctly.

A Google search finds many freeware VST Reverb plugins. For example: http://www.vstplanet.com/Effects/Effects.htm
