Title: Shuffle in different modes?

Last night I was playing music in Shuffle mode while wanting to view photos located elsewhere on the system. When I first accessed the photos, they too were displyed in Shuffle mode. Is there a way to separate these two functions so music=Shuffle and photos=sequential?
