If I choose this option: "Hardware accelerate video decoding" ,
It does not work , A white picture appears. and nothing else. For all videos.
MC plays without "hardware accelerate vidieo decoding" e.g.
jellyfish-400-mbps-4k-uhd-hevc-10bit.mkv with 96% CUP load.
Other videos will then be played as well
I have a Nvidia GTX 1060 3 GB.
Only the playback with mpv and the parameter --hwdec = cuda works well via GUP decoding.
Is there a way to implement this in MC?

Can you create a log file of trying to play with hardware decoding enabled?
-
Strangely, it is suddenly possible to look
jellyfish-400-mbps-4k-uhd-hevc-10bit.mkv with Hardware Acceleration.
The 2nd movie in log1 (3rd Days.in.Quiberon.avi) shows only a white picture
Both movies ---> log1
I tested a third video (also white picture))
Beth Hard / Beth Hart - Live at Paradiso
This movie ---> log2
-
The second video is mpeg4, which is known to be very error prone with hardware decoding, so I'll probably just disallow it for that codec.
The HEVC 10-bit clip apparently worked fine, so thats good.
