Title: MJ changes the order of play list just before I burn

I spend some time getting like 23 songs by different artists in a paticular order. Then spent time listening & altering the order till I got it the way I wanted. Then I go to burn CD & MJ changed the order. Throw that CD out & start again.
What gives with that & how can I stop it. Help menu was of no help.
