Hi there,
Today I opened performer and there was an error message that said I had np subscription associated w/ my acount. I can only hear 30 second samples. I went in and 'updated my account info (credit card, etc., and still no improvement. I tried uninstall, reboot, re install but had no success there. Any Idea what's up? I am running Vista w/ version 101 of PMC.

Same here. For I have been able to play tracks fine, but cannot transfer to portable device. Then today "There appears to be a problem with your account..." and the 30 sec. previews only.
I think the problem started when the previous build timed out May 31 and I downloaded latest build.

Likewise, and as of 06/08/09, my card has been chrged 15.99 for a service that I am not receiving and from the looks of this board, may not receive . need some info. really can't just let this sit indefinitely. I'm getting a sour taste for the MC 14 Upgrade I just purchased right before PMC went down. :-\
I have boasted on JRiver products and services over the years & will probably continue to do so. All attention seems focused in the direction of the MC board. Did I miss a PMC going out of business announcement? Checking back on this forum for an update constantly is "not" the way to handle it when you're dealing with credit cards and mthly chgs. If there's a problem, why not send an email similar to the few I received the past couple of days regarding MC 14. I don't expect to go searching MC's board to find info on Performer nor do I have the time. I do pay for them separately, do I not?
Sorry guys, I'm just a bit vexed right now.
To be quite clear, before today my "login name" was meant as a joke, as I am the last person to complain and normally would say very little. It's obvious that a few of us want to know what is going on and have been patiently waiting. I'm a customer, not a shopper. Right now, and at least until I regain my solace, I'm a disgruntled, "crabby" one. :-X

Sounds to me like Medianet (the company providing the tracks) may be looking for bigger fish with a larger customer base. I love JRiver Media Center, but no one I know has ever heard of it. That probably makes for a less-than-attractive option for the rights holders.

I can only listen 30" each song, about 5 days ago.
I think you do not charge my credit card, although it was OK in september.
So I change the credit card (updated billing information) 3 days ago and, still, only 30" per song.
Please, I need help, can you fix my account urgently?

Please try your account today, it should be working again. The charge failed for some reason when the subscription update occurred, but we ran the charge again today and it worked. Sorry for the disruption in service.

Error authorizing account.
JRiver login error.
This is the message I keep getting every time I try to login to Performer Store. Nothing has change with my account. I did however, reformat my hard drive and of course reinstalled everything. I did have a message that told me to deactivate my old activation. Which I did. I was able to download one song that played and still plays. But that was it. Nothing now. I can't login at all.

I just tried logging into your account and it worked ok. Perhaps the server was down momentarily, please try again and let us know.

JohnT, I did an uninstall, Cleared all Reg info through regedit. Rebooted sys and reinstalled. Works fine now. If the sever was down,,,, boy do I feel stupid. If not no prob. It's working for now.

Darn thing is doing it again. I'm getting pretty mad about now. Why do I keep getting this error message?
"Error Authorizing Account."
"JRiver Login Error."
I don't want to keep uninstalling and doing all the other bs just to have it work and then not work again. If it keeps happening, if and when I can sign in, I'll be cancelling my subscription. As it is now I'm paying for a product that I can't use. That does not sit well in my wallet & bank account.
Help me out here. Let me know how to fix this and keep it from happening in the future.

I Am Kind Of Wondering What You Are Using To Access The Performer Store
Media Jukebox, PMC, MC15, MC16 Etc.. And What Version Of The Software.
That May Shed Some Light Into The Problem.
Also Could It Be A Firewall Issue?

I think my problem was that after I re-formatted my hard drive I didn't notice that the "Date and Time Properties" were not correct. As I told JohnT, I had an ah-ha moment and tried to sign in. It went through and I haven't had any issues at all as of this time.

Please enter your updated credit card info on the "Update billing information" dialog and then select "Portable Subscription" on the "Change Subscription" dialog. Thanks!

Please post the exact steps you take to change the subscription, and what you see on the screen.
