Title: MC 23 Win/Linux/Mac - Rip CD on client and sync output on server HOWTO
Post by: finzic on August 25, 2018, 11:31:06 am
Hi all,
first of all let me say thanks to all JRiver developers for their job: I have a master license and I have currently installed it on my 3 pcs: a Linux server, a Windows 10 client and a Mac client.
My question is: I have configured the Linux box as a server in garage (hey, it's 2 storeys downstairs!) and it is perfecly networked. I have also set up it as a Library Server. It is recognised by my Windows 10 client perfectly. All MC are version 23.
I would like to rip CDs on my Windows 10 client and have the library on the Linux server kept in sync. In other words: I would like to rip a CD on Windows 10 with JRiver 23 and have the files trasferred (sync'd) on the Linux Server, along with its library being updated.
How can I do that without manually copying files?
Thanks,
Luca
