Title: Youtube/Hulu custom theater view menu items (ie Charlie don't bite my finger)
Post by: drmimosa on November 05, 2012, 09:01:42 am
Would it be possible to add custom search items to the Theater View Menus for Youtube and Hulu?

For example, before the Hulu Search menu item, users could add searches for "SNL" , "Colbert", "Daily Show," "House."

On Youtube this could be especially valuable for pinning great musicians to the menu. Instead of "Top Rated," which pulls up Charlie Bit My Finger, I'd love to enter a custom menu search of "Bill Evans," which pulls up Waltz for Debby.

I realize that this can be done with the search menus and a remote/keyboard, but if it wasn't too complicated to add to the options it would be a simple way to give users custom access to these vast databases of video content.

Thanks for considering my request.
