Title: Thinking on buying master license..

hi there,
wife now has a new macbook and wants to stream music to it. i have a windows license until now. is there a feature comparison for windows vs. mac vs. linux somewhere available? i'm especially interested in dlna functionality and streaming audio / video. any discrepancies in functionality between those two (e.g. can i watch movies and stream music from a windows server to a macbook running the macos version of mc?)?
