Title: Switching between standard player and ASIO Line-In
Post by: zydeco on August 04, 2016, 10:27:34 pm
Is there a simple way to set-up JRiver to allow switching between standard playback and ASIO Line-In? The reason for the question is that I’m looking to use ASIO Line-In to enable processing of audio from external sources and, ideally, would be able to manage the change without having to use the keyboard / standard view menu.

A few "views" but no answer - might be that this isn't possible? One thought I had was it might be possible to associate ASIO Line-In with a zone which would allow toggle zone to be used?

The audio settings are specific to the zone, so it's worth a try.

I've created two zones - one set-up when ASIO Line-In was used with low latency IIR EQ and a second with standard playback with FIR EQ - and, yes, am able to switch between the two using Ctrl T. It'd be great if I could automate the switch via zoneswitch rules but this doesn't seem possible as the rules all seem to be defined based upon files of media files. Any suggestions?
