Title: Upgrade from MC15 to MC18 lost (almost) all my cover art
Post by: enigman on March 14, 2013, 05:12:44 pm
Just tried to upgrade from mc15 to 18. Imported my library backup which seemed to work okay, but I lost almost all of my cover art. Mc updated the settings so that the cover art directory was set to the old mc15 location, but mc18 isn't seeing any of it. Tried also copying the whole cover art folder to a new location and then pointing mc18 there, but again, no luck.

Please help, I'd love to try the new features in mc18, but if I have to manually update all my cover art that's a bit of a deal breaker!

Thanks

Set the directory correctly, and then do a right click on a few files and do Cover Art/Quick Find.

That's what I had tried, but it didn't work on any of the files :-(
How does MC link the art filename and the file? My cover art appears to all be in the form of album artist - album title
