Title: MC16 is Now the Stable Download
Post by: JimH on April 27, 2011, 12:20:37 pm
Since MC16.0.75 is stable for most people, we've switched to it as the primary download here:

Thanks for all the help in getting it there.

You thank us? WE thank you, for creating the best media player/center software in the market, as well as having the best after-sales support i've ever came across.

I would authorize auto charging me for new versions if you had the ability!  Sheesh.

I'm looking to switching to exclusively Mac, though, but somehow someway I'll make it work.  I use Windows at work, streaming my music all day.

MC on Parallel's 6 is completely usable.  It doesn't perform as well as native, of course, but it works well enough to be usable.  Even with video and theater view.

That is good to hear.  I'm thinking 17" MacBook Pro with SSD.  I've had a gigantic computer setup for years but I think it's time to simplify and condense.  There's a lot to be said for laptops...no towers, KVM switches, etc.  Plus my primary systems are a few years old so a state of the art laptop will likely outperform in about every way.  Ooo, exciting thinking about revising my entire setup...

I'd be considering the same ... but what would the appropriate hardware output be?  Right now I'm using my HTPC's HDMI output ... minimally, I wouldn't settle for anything else than optical SPDIF (... and that wouldn't support HD bitstreams)

Is there another thread regarding MC on a Mac?
