With the new universal license I want to be able to use my Mac Mini client with our bedroom surround system to play back surround FLAC's WAV's and DTS files on my primary Media Center PC in our family room (setup as a server). The library appears on the Mac just as expected with playlists just as I would expect. However, only MP3 files will play. Even stereo M4A files will not play.
I've checked the settings on both sides. Verified they are on the exact same versions (believe wiki document dated on this anyway).
I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
Why will only MP3 files play (no FLAC, therefore no Surround) when playing PC server library on a Mac?
