Fyi..
The app crashes as soon as I start it.
I hope it will be fixed by either Apple in later beta-versions or JRiver if there is an incompatibility with iOS 9 at all.
Regards,
Nico

JRiver generally won't support OS issues while they're in Beta (whether on iOS, OSX, Android, or Windows), because it is often a huge waste of time.
That said... Try deleting and re-installing the app. Usually crash-immediately-on-launch issues indicate that something in the app's storage has become corrupted (which is somewhat common when updating iOS) and delete/re-install should fix it.
If that doesn't help, it would be useful to know, though we won't be of much help till much closer to release.

thnx for the info,
I know you probably won't/can't do much about it, because beta and all.
Anyway, deleting and reinstalling on beta 1 didn't help, it still crashed immediately.
Today I installed 9.0 beta 2, and reinstalled the app, but the same thing happened. So just FYI again.
I hope something fundamental will change in the beta's before the public beta in July.
Kind regards,
Nico

Hi,
Fyi: Public beta iOS 9.0 same result, including delete/new installation JRemote app.

It would be good to let Apple know.

I confirm

iOS 9 Beta 1, especially on iPhone, is still a bit of a mess. Definitely not recommended for daily use. I've seen quite a few reports of broken apps still.
-
Specifically, many apps that do multimedia playback functions are having troubles right now. Including (as of Beta 2):
* Apple's Podcasts App (unstable and video playback doesn't work)
* Plex (crashes on launch for most devices and users)
* iCatcher (crashes on launch)
* AirDisplay (crashes on launch)
* Foxtel Go (crashes on launch)
* Nike+ Fuel (various reports, very unstable if you can get it to load at all)
* AirWatch (crashes on launch)
* AppleInsider app (crashes on launch)
* Foursquare (very unstable)
* HBO Go (various reports, some people are getting crash-on-launch)
If you're interested, the iMore forums have a few threads tracking app issues.

Just tried with iOS 9 official release this evening. JRemote still crashes when I open it.
And it is not Apple that need's to know. It is the people behind JRemote.
