A scoped search, like the one JRemote has, would be very useful. E.g. when viewing artists, a search for "Radiohead" would just show one result, rather than every Radiohead song. When viewing Albums, a search for "Layla" would show just that album, rather than every song on it and every cover of Layla. JRemote has two different searches - scoped (related to whatever it is you're looking at right now) and global. AFAICT the Panel search always is a global search. I usually use the scoped search on JRemote.
MC 24.0.53 running on macOS 10.12.16, with Panel on an iPad running iOS 12.
BTW Since Panel is platform agnostic (which is a very good thing indeed), maybe it merits its own top-level entry in this Forum, rather than having posts like this be in MC/Mac or MC/Windows?
