Title: Sort Column Customization - How to Make It Stick?
Post by: dpippel on November 13, 2016, 08:11:48 am
I've been using MC for YEARS, so I feel a bit idiotic asking this question. When I'm in default mode viewing my audio collection sorted by artist/album, I want to get rid of a few default columns, like "Rating". If I do this however, the next time I start MC the Rating column is right back in place. How do I make column customization stick?

If you're using MC in a client-server configuration, these changes (and any changes to the Media Views) must be made on the Server.

Any changes made on the Client are lost when you close and restart it.

Same exact issue here, but I don't think I am using MC in a client/server environment.  I'm on MC 23 for Windows, but have had this issue for many years, many previous versions.  I can set a custom view, but then I need to select that custom view every time I change Artist/Album.  I want my column view settings to stick permanently for all artists/albums.  Everything with MC is great, but I CONSTANTLY fight with the column view settings.
