Title: trial vrs full licenced
Post by: Disisme on April 28, 2017, 02:09:51 pm
Hi
I wanted to try the jriver for my toshiba laptop running win7 as well I have a dell laptop running win 10.
Will there be any difference with results when I rip a cd to flac between full version and the trial download version?
Also does it make a difference what win version jriver is installed on ? is there a preferred Operating System version?
Forgot , also whats the differnce between downloading the full version and an added license? I'm a bit confused on downloading and getting a license key.
Thanks

The trial version is fully featured, so it doesn't "lack any features" the licensed version has - it's both the same.

Ok Thanks
Was trying the trial , when I ripped a cd the end result showed windows media player as the properties which seems strange seeing as its not playing with WMP but JRiver. Do I have to change encoding to Flac encoder to get a definate lossless Flac outcome?
Sorry this is all new to me.
Thanks
