Title: JRiver also has Mac and Linux versions
Post by: JimH on September 18, 2013, 03:40:59 pm
Early versions (still rough) of the Linux version are available now.  Please visit the new Linux board (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=35.0).

Status of the Mac version can be found on the Mac board (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=36.0).

hi !

i didnt know where to ask the question, but this thread seem to be kind of right.

im using media center for three years now, and because recently i got a macbook i purchased and installed jriver for mac.

i want to upgrade to version 19 for win and mac, but it is a pita to pay again for both releases, who basically run on the same notebook.

is there a possibility to get a mac/win upgrade bundle ?

one person/one notebook/one desire to use a fantasic player and two payments just dont feel right ;).

thanks and regards
fforet

EDIT: I just found the same Question in the Mac Forum. Blame on me.

Anyway, will it be possible in the future to upgrade both for less money?

I Second this I also have  a MacMini with OSX Mountain LION & Win7  and MC19 on Mac & Win7 on same MacMini and same MACHINE and same USER  Why Do I have to buy two licenses
Is this not the Legal definition of the License?   SAME USER SAME MACHINE Come-on guys these are modern times you want to have a modern software so you should also have a modern corporate thinking  "Its nota all about the Money"
Perception is everything!

Sorry, but the licenses on Mac and PC are separate.  No upgrades from one to the other.
