Title: independant video output
Post by: theurbanhipster on April 12, 2005, 10:18:53 am
I'm sure this question has been asked before and I have scanned the forum but didn't come up with anything.
What I want to know is there a way to have two outputs, one output to a computer monitor which would be my controls like MC etc. and the second output  just be the video/tv signal that i can pipe out to my TV's. That way my projector doesn't show MC, just the movie or TV channel I want to watch.
Thanks

Generally you need just a video card capable of displaying TV-Out besides the regular display and of course you need to have the correct driver settings. I have successfully used ATI Radeon cards for that. You didn't tell what you have.
